Sit back, relax & welcome to the Harrison world
Welcome to the daily happenings of the Harrison Family. It's crazy here, but we have a lot of fun. Mamma is clearly a little out numbered by the male species in the house, but it sure keeps things interesting. In our lives, you'll find lots of bugs, blocks, trucks, loud banging, clanging, running, hurdling off couches and beds, endless amounts of energy, no sleep, laughter from the belly, boo-boos, trips to the dr, walks to the park, did i mention no sleep? We hope you enjoy the ride as much as we do.
Playing in the pool
The boys get a little silly when we throw the green slide into the pool. As long as they're smiling, it's cool.
Safety Fair May 22
Today we went to the Safety Fair at the local police substation. In this first picture Brady was running over to tell me that he just saw the police helicopter take off into the sky! We were able to see and get into a Care flight, police helicopter, Swat car, ambulance, fire truck, and mobile police units. The boys thought it was "super cool" ! We were also able to meet some bomb sniffing dogs and rescue dogs. Wonder if we could enter toni in francis in the program... JUST KIDDING.
May 18th SNAKE
May 15th Poppin' Bubbles in the Buff
If you were to look in our backyard on any given afternoon, you might think i run a nudist colony. The boys feel quite divine in the buff and today were in fine form running around the yard popping bubbles.

Playing out front
Brady and Breck, keepin' it real in the front yard. A lot of times we'll wait for their Dad to come home from work out front... and this was just one of those times.

Brady hair cut -May
So, here's Brady gettin' his hair 'did'. He's entranced with whatever show they play over and over every time we're in there. He's come a long way... for a year and a half, he wouldn't let scissors come near his head, now he can't wait to get a hair cut and tells me when his hair is long!
Breck haircut
Breck is a super stud getting his hair cut. Look at that tiny little neck... how can you not love him!
Brady under water
Yea Brady! So proud of the little man.... when he started swimming lessons in January, he had never even put his head under water and now he's swimming under water!
March 30th
March 28th and SUN!!!!
Sunday, March 21, 2010
OK, with this snow, I have officially had it. Brian woke me up and told me to look out the window.... i didn't even want to. The thought of yet more snow about made me sick. This is late March and normally we're out basking in the warm rays of the sun! I guess looking back , i can be thankful for all the cold we had because it sure made for GORGEOUS rose bushes this spring! Anyway, I am happy to say that this is the last snow day we had for the winter... THANK GOODNESS!

The Power is OUT!!! HELP
I forgot to slip this picture in earlier... this was Jan. 8, 2010 when our temps in Dallas dipped into the teens and the power went out all over the city including our neighborhood. I don't believe I've ever been so cold in my life... our house was like an ice box... seemed colder than outside and the hardwoods everywhere didn't help. We were lucky, our power came back on after a day, but several streets around us were out for a week or more. YIKES! I think i prefer the heat.
Friends
Out having lunch with friends. We've all known each other for a very long time. Allison (on the right) and I took gymnastics together in elementary school, grew up on the same street and cheered together in jr. high and high school. Susan (on the left) and I have been friends through jr. high & high school, we commiserated together during our first year of college at U. of Alabama which we both left for TX schools, and we are still great friends enjoying each others friendships and watching our kids grow up together. Love my friends!
The boys having fun
feb 12 2010
Despite the snow, we still headed to swimming lessons at Emler Swim School! Actually it was really nice since it was so warm in there! Here is Brady showing off his backfloat! He really enjoys his lessons!!
The snow of Feb 2010
These pics were all taken out front of our house. Not sure if we'll ever see this amount of snow again, so I'm glad the boys were able to get out and enjoy it even if it did bring on rounds and rounds of sinus infections and colds! Brady and Breck took my kitchen spatulas to dig in the snow. Not sure why their sand shovels weren't good enough, but hey, it made them happy!
