Sit back, relax & welcome to the Harrison world

Welcome to the daily happenings of the Harrison Family. It's crazy here, but we have a lot of fun. Mamma is clearly a little out numbered by the male species in the house, but it sure keeps things interesting. In our lives, you'll find lots of bugs, blocks, trucks, loud banging, clanging, running, hurdling off couches and beds, endless amounts of energy, no sleep, laughter from the belly, boo-boos, trips to the dr, walks to the park, did i mention no sleep? We hope you enjoy the ride as much as we do.

March 28th and SUN!!!!

We couldn't help but take advantage of the beautiful sunny day we had! I think as a family we were very 'snowed' out and ready to get back to a normal Tx spring! It was soooo nice to finally get the boys out to run around, take in that warm air and brilliant sun. I was so thankful for this day!

November Flowers

Here we are, November 2 and it's an absolutely gorgeous day. It was definitely a day for being outside, so the fam decided to take some time out for the arboretum. Yeah, we come here a lot.. especially the boys and I, but it's extra fun when Dad gets to come too!

Dad Time

Yep, a boy definitely needs their dad. I'm positive I wouldn't do as well with the tossing of child in the air! I love the complete trust the boys have that their Dad will always catch them and never let them fall. I'm so glad they feel like this and hope it lasts forever.

Flower hug

I like the fact that Brady just couldn't resist throwing is arms around these big beautiful clumps of flowers.

Waterfall

Just sort of cool with the water here. Actually, this waterfall was the backdrop to David and Jolee's beautiful wedding! So neat to think, so many years ago, I was sitting at this location watching my brother get married and had no idea I'd be coming back with my own amazing family 13yrs (i think) later.

The Lorax

Here we are at the Lorax house. Of course, this house is inspired from Dr. Seuss. Too bad I don't have the other side of the house in the picture because their is a cool slide and ladder the kids love to play on. I'm sure you're wondering what the heck chuy is doing with his head in the funnel. Well, the tubing goes all the way to the other side of the house where there is another funnel and breck is simply talking to his brother on the other side! They love this!

Nature walk

The boys prefer to walk off the beaten path, so we often had to encourage them back from underneath the roped off areas. I'm thinking we need to take them to Colorado or something for a real honest to goodness hike in the wild. Gosh... I can picture it now and I have sneakin' suspicion that would make for an awesome holiday. But for now, we really appreciate what the arboretum has to offer and if we're outside the boys are normally very happy.

The fish Pond

Brady and Breck love the fish at the arboretum! Breck got down on his stomach and was literally trying to catch them with his bare hand. He thought it was hilarious, but it made me a bit nervous that he might actually get one and we had about 10 spectators. I can easily picture little chuy becoming one of those crazy survivalist men with his own man vs wild tv show.

Recovered from mud slip

Brady recovered quickly from his fall in the mud. Tears didn't last too long and we all happily left smiling!

Mom & da' boys

So, what's being outside if we aren't looking for bugs? Yea MOM.... yes, i found them a centipede and we talked about all the shoes it has to wear on its feet.
