Sit back, relax & welcome to the Harrison world

Welcome to the daily happenings of the Harrison Family. It's crazy here, but we have a lot of fun. Mamma is clearly a little out numbered by the male species in the house, but it sure keeps things interesting. In our lives, you'll find lots of bugs, blocks, trucks, loud banging, clanging, running, hurdling off couches and beds, endless amounts of energy, no sleep, laughter from the belly, boo-boos, trips to the dr, walks to the park, did i mention no sleep? We hope you enjoy the ride as much as we do.

Dinosaur Exhibit 2009

OK, this was a really, super cool exhibit and definitely worth checking out! The Dinosaur exhibit has life size, noise-making, realistic-moving dinosaurs set right out in the middle of nature! Seriously, this is the coolest thing and really lets you imagine what it must have been like when these crazy creatures ruled our planet. I've seen dinosaurs inside museum buildings, but it just wasn't the same as being able to see them among trees and our living environment. The boys would only get so close to a few of these dinos and they would cling a little tighter when they 'roared'... but i could tell they were honestly intrigued by them and enjoyed getting to see these life sized replicas! I think I've found a new place to come, the Heard Museum...that is, and might have to invest in a membership. Lots of learning and fun... and it's outside which i LOVE!

Land of the Lost

Yep, a little 'land of the lost' right here in Mckinney, Tx. This exhibit is open until Jan 31, 2010, and I highly recommend it... especially for those with boys! You get dinosaurs mixed right in with real nature and a little exercise to boot!
FAN-freakin-TASTIC!

Dino Hunt

This is really the best way to see a dinosaur exhibit...walking along a nature trail and spotting them in the woods. Totally cool! The parents were VERY impressed with this exhibit!!!

Along the Dino trail

I really think the boys thought the dino's were pretty cool. I can imagine that these dinosaurs were pretty darn life like to a 22mo. old and a 3 and a half year old.
