Sit back, relax & welcome to the Harrison world

Welcome to the daily happenings of the Harrison Family. It's crazy here, but we have a lot of fun. Mamma is clearly a little out numbered by the male species in the house, but it sure keeps things interesting. In our lives, you'll find lots of bugs, blocks, trucks, loud banging, clanging, running, hurdling off couches and beds, endless amounts of energy, no sleep, laughter from the belly, boo-boos, trips to the dr, walks to the park, did i mention no sleep? We hope you enjoy the ride as much as we do.

Christmas Morning

We actually had to wake Breck up this year! He was a bit sleepy for the first few minutes.. but woke up real quick once he saw the toys!

Christmas Eve

Santa brought lots of stuff! He devoured the kids Christmas cookies and milk and the reindeer gobbled their food we left in the yard.

Christmas Eve

Seriously... what a perfect Christmas Eve! Snow and smiles and doodlebug hung on our ceiling for his final hours with us... until next year.

Christmas Eve at David and Jolee's

AAAAAAhhhh, i wish i had turned my flash off so you could get the full effect of this scene! Our entertainment of the evening totally made the night. David Elliot had set up a short magic show in his parents room. Although you can't tell, it was dark and his 'work' area was lit up with the flashlight held by his little brother. David even had magic 'mood' music playing in the background! He did a round of tricks that were interactive and fun while talking his way through it with funny little quips. His act was definitely first class!

Christmas Eve at Dave's

After Church we all went to David and Jolee's for Christmas Eve. Such a fun way to spend the evening. We had lots of good food and drinks and while all of us adults talked and enjoyed ourselves, the cousins played and had such a fun time together. The boys spent a lot of time peeking out the window showing each other the snow that had blanketed the ground. I feel so lucky that the boys can all grow up knowing each other. awesome... really.

Shark Face

Shark face is a long lived tradition in the Healey house. It started way back one year when Nicole and I were in the back seat of our suburban on the way to Destin, Fl. We took the most hideous pictures of ourselves doing "shark face". It's stuck and shark face comes out often at family gatherings. Get your fins up!

White Elephant Tacky Sweater/Tie Party

Here is the host of the annual White Elephant party. Mom is proud of her Festivly Tacky Christmas Sweater. Apparently half of our family/friends didn't get the memo on the tacky sweater/tie part, so they showed up looking normal and wondering why the other half looked atrociously unfashionable. I do believe i won for ugliest sweater, but didn't get a pic of myself... boo hoo. Anyway, as always the food, family, friends and laughter made for a great time!

white elephant -tacky sweater/tie party

The party was lots of fun!

More white elephant party

white elephant white elephant..... david's was by far the creepiest and i approved.

Sad Face

My little monkey with a sad face. I had just taken away his 'reindeer food' because i feared it would end up all over my back seat instead of our backyard, where it's suppose to go in a couple of days. Life is rough.. poor little guy!

Good Friend

Me and my good friend, Amy! Love her, we've known each other a good long while. I actually met her mother first in a Dr's office I was 'calling on' for work about 10 years ago... we talked about my job because she thought her daughter would be great at it and next thing I knew, Amy was working with me at the same company. Amy was a great sales rep, by the way.... but now we both are lucky enough to be stay at home mom's for our boys, the greatest and most important job ever.

Da Boys

Brady and Breck all ready to crash a Christmas party. Notice: they had to put on their fancy rain boots.

Festivus

Nothing like a Creepy Frosty and Creepy Santa hanging around the house. 'Lawd', you know i loves a mask!
Brady has had soooooo much fun with our elf on a shelf, doodlebug! The very first thing he does when he wakes is scout the house for our elf and he thinks it's hilarious when he finds him somewhere new each time! Next year i foresee some serious competition with elf spotting... but until then, Brady searches without the stress of competition.

Christmas spirit

I just sort of thought this was cute! I often find Breck in with the Christmas Tree just checking it out and looking at the ornaments he made and hung.

Cookie decorating

Brady and Breck spent a little time yesterday afternoon decorating some gingerbread men by dipping them in chocolate and throwing on lots of sprinkles. Good job boys... cute and tasty!

Loading up Poinsettias

My little helpers! They LOVED loading our cart up with poinsettias. Can't wait to see this translate into yard work!

Poinsettias

For some reason Brady thinks a group hug involves a choke hold. Breck must be developing some hardcore neck muscles these days.

Christmas Tree Shopping

Well.... it definitely feels like winter and rather appropriate weather to buy a Christmas tree. The boys were real excited and I can tell just love everything about the Christmas Season. They make me smile... a lot.
