life with dogs is never EVER simple or inexpensive. Somehow Toni cut his leg bad enough to require stitches. That was pretty clear when Brian spotted a gaping wound dripping blood everywhere. We took him to the vet who decided to also remove a nasty growth on his back and a whole bunch of nasty, rotted teeth while he was under anesthesia. Well, during the healing process, Toni's back stitches popped open, so my pregnant self had to grab the two boys and the dog and haul everyone back to the vet to get Toni some staples. GOOD GRIEF.... enough already.
