Sit back, relax & welcome to the Harrison world

Welcome to the daily happenings of the Harrison Family. It's crazy here, but we have a lot of fun. Mamma is clearly a little out numbered by the male species in the house, but it sure keeps things interesting. In our lives, you'll find lots of bugs, blocks, trucks, loud banging, clanging, running, hurdling off couches and beds, endless amounts of energy, no sleep, laughter from the belly, boo-boos, trips to the dr, walks to the park, did i mention no sleep? We hope you enjoy the ride as much as we do.

ASI Gymnastics

Sorry you can't see Breck's face, but he was having a blast jumping on the trampoline! He LOVES gymnastics class and has sooo much fun! He pretty much goes bananas when I take his shoes off in the gym... he can't wait to get started!

George of the Jungle

Yep, the pit is definitely one of the favorite activities at gymnastics class! I have to brag a bit, Chuy Tamale was the only child who rocked the rope swing. He hung on tight like only this little monkey can and then released at just the right moment! I had to hold him back so the other children could try. he he he!

A little High Bar action

Ok, so what can i say, Breck is pretty much a rock star. He has no fear, can not wait for his turn and gives it all he's got. He does his thing with ease and grace and the other children can only sit back and shutter in awe.

Parallel bars

So, first Breck checks out the scene on the parallel bars.. makes sure everything is safe and cool. THEN... he makes his move. Perhaps they should rename this the 'Breck John' in the Olympics. Look at that skill, the balance, the coordination.. not to mention the fine body positioning. Watch out Paul Hamm, Here comes Breck!!!

Stamps!

It was a good class today! Little Chuy did awesome and had so much fun and is always the first one to rush over and sit down to get his stamps on his hands and feet! My little star!

Ready for the X games

Breck found Brady's bike helmet and decided he needed to wear it around our house for the morning. I actually sort of wish he'd wear it every day all day.. might prevent some injuries!

Highway to the danger zone

I just asked Breck to smile and this is what I got! Breck is all or nothin'!

Mom & da' boys

So, what's being outside if we aren't looking for bugs? Yea MOM.... yes, i found them a centipede and we talked about all the shoes it has to wear on its feet.

Arboretum

Brady just looks so grown up I could cry.

Dad and the Boys

The boys have a great Daddy! There is just something special about seeing a Dad with his kids. Brings a smile to your face.

Posing by the Pumpkin pool

One of the reflecting pools at the arboretum is full of little pumpkins. Very cool!

yeah, I'll take the dare

Brady about to take a ride on the rope swing inside of the pirate ship!

ahoy matey!

Brady is inside of the pirate ship playhouse at the Arboretum. This is by far his favorite playhouse here. This was the first spot he wanted to take his Dad when we arrived this morning.

king of the Mountain

A little hot today, but the boys didn't care. So thankful to have a place like the Arboretum to hang out at.

Mountain of Pumpkins

With every step Brady climbed the wall of pumpkins, i feared them all tumbling down. That's what mom's do right? worry?!

1st LH Football game

Brady's first live LH football game! I think we just scored a touchdown here.. Brady is an LH fan already!

LH wildcats

Pretty fun to be back in the LH stadium after all these years!

Friday night lights

Fun night, perfect weather for a football game and Brady thought it was all very cool.

Time for Bed

My two Heros. God love them, toothbrushes in hand, bathed and ready for bed.

Perfect Day for the Park

The past couple of days have been soooo nice in Dallas. Notice the kids are in long sleeves!!! Amazing! We are so lucky to have the Northlake Elementary Park literally right behind our house. (for those of you who don't know- this is the school I went to- so pretty cool to have my boys playing here) You know what part I loved most about this outing? I loved walking down the alley, hand in hand with each of my boys. Anyway, this afternoon we had lots of fun, running, sliding, finding bugs, and playing a little soccer! Thanks for keeping me in shape boys!

Can't get to the Playground fast enough!

Brady is way ahead of us here and I'm just trying to keep up with Chuy! Off to the playground we go!

YUCK

Once again, another bug. Anyone who knows me ... knows i DESPISE grasshoppers. What do ya know, Brady scoops one up from the grass like it's nothing. I'm not quite sure how he even saw it in the grass because it blended right in. Brady thought the grasshopper was fantastic and had all sorts of fun letting it go and re-capturing it.

Grasshopper!!! Can I see?

Breck wanted to check out the grasshopper so bad, but you can see the look of reluctance on Brady's face. There is a reason for this... Breck has been known to have the crushing fingers of death when they touch bugs. Therefore, Brady realizes the little life he holds in the palm of his hands is dangling in the world of uncertainty when Breck is around. All turned out well though.... Breck just "looked with his eyes" and everyone, including the grasshopper was happy.

TEXAS

Brady wants to make sure everyone knows that HE KNOWS he was born in Texas!

Throwing stones

Little pebbles are apparently a whole heck of a lot of fun to throw, especially when you're in a tight space like a barrel.

Why so glum chum?

The sun will come out, tomorrow, bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow,
there will be sun.....

Sweet Breck

Breck makes a fine 'old man' face and he was almost there when i shot this picture. I'll get it one of these times.

Slide down #20

Brothers.. it looks like Brady is about to take Breck out, but he never did.

Sunshine in his smile

Can you imagine if adults felt like this as much as children do? This continuous zest for life is so awesome and it just makes you happy to be around it.

Boys are Cute

Brady's expression was just too cute.. so I had to include this pic! Sometimes I wish there was a loudspeaker for his mind... love to know what was going through it at this moment!

Always in competition!

OK, so on this piece of playground equipment there are 3 slides. Of course, Brady and Breck HAVE to go down this one at the same time! BOYS!

Daddy-O

What's park time without a little soccer with Dad?

Almost bedtime

Brady LOVES his new fireman PJ's. Is it just me, or is Brady looking really grown up these days? :( Where is my baby going???? Just turning into an adorable little boy!

New PJ's

Breck is wearing his new PJ's... he loves his bones, especially since they glow in the dark. I'm wondering if this was the reason he chose to stay up from 11-3am last night????? Hmmm...another sleepless night at the Harrison house. When we all got up this morning, I told Brian, "it's a good thing our little Chuy is so darn cute, because you just can't be mad at him!"

Crazy glue

Glue makes little chuy tamale very hyper. Not only did chuy glue his foam shapes, but also the top AND bottom of our glass table. I need a tablecloth for craft purposes.

Another rainy afternoon

So, rainy days call for glue, googly eyes, and sticky foam shapes. Thank goodness the boys love this stuff!

Could they be any cuter?

So, here are my 3 guys. Seriously, I ask you this question: Could they be any cuter? We were either on our way to or from the Plano Balloon Festival.

Weeeeeeeeeee

This was so awesome! They raced up this sucker like it was a time trial for the Olympics and then Brady would wait for Breck to sit down and they would both slide together! Their smiles lit up the afternoon. Brian and I got so much enjoyment watching them scream and laugh!

Up Up and Away...

Once again our little Breck proves he has no fear!

The sky's the limit

Brady and Breck had the time of their life on this bounce house thing. We thought for sure this would tire them out enough so we would see an afternoon nap from one of them..... ha ha, it was a nice hope though!

Beck Michael Morrison

Here he is, Mr. Beck Michael Morrison. He's a looker alright. Beck is such an alert baby and we just love him so much already... my sweetie pie of a nephew!

6th time in the waiting room

So, I don't have a ton of pictures of my parents and I thought this was a nice one. Mom and Dad are really excited and waiting in the hospital for their 6th grandson to arrive! Nicole gave birth to Beck at 11:26, Sept 19th! It was awesome to be there for his arrival to this world and I wouldn't have missed it for anything.

The Chuy Tamale Show

This picture personifies Breck's personality! He is such a happy, independent, fearless little guy and his laughter and smiles are freakin' awesome! Oh, and for those of you that don't know, his nickname is Chuy.
