Sit back, relax & welcome to the Harrison world

Welcome to the daily happenings of the Harrison Family. It's crazy here, but we have a lot of fun. Mamma is clearly a little out numbered by the male species in the house, but it sure keeps things interesting. In our lives, you'll find lots of bugs, blocks, trucks, loud banging, clanging, running, hurdling off couches and beds, endless amounts of energy, no sleep, laughter from the belly, boo-boos, trips to the dr, walks to the park, did i mention no sleep? We hope you enjoy the ride as much as we do.

Another gorgeous day with my gorgeous boys

A little outside time to play with chalk, ride scooters, and find bugs.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!

The day after labor day.... and it's the first day of school for my oldest boys. Brooks decided to dress well for the occasion and wear his red power tie to drop them off in. Why is taking them to PreK so hard for me?? I was on the brink of tears all day yesterday.. and any words spoken of their first day brought the tears spilling over. I just can't understand how time zips by so fast and almost unnoticed at times. I think about that and it and it makes me sick to my stomach, so I really try to live in the present and BE present for the boys. Our house is soooo busy...and soooo loud, but when it's quiet life just doesn't feel right. Brady & Breck go off to school and I dearly miss the "hey mom, I got to tell you sometin"... the "mommmmmy, I need a drink".... the "can you come play with me upstairs"... the "let's do arts and crafts".
It's those words that make me so happy... those little everyday experiences. I'm so thankful for them and will try to slow down even more to drink it all in while I can.

Proud and Excited for our boys!

Our handsome monkeys were excited about their new endeavor... and mom and dad couldn't miss the picture opportunity. I shed plenty of tears yesterday thinking of how much I'd miss my monkeys... but today is a day for smiles!

Hello Teachers!

The boys left my side and walked into their rooms happily. I wanted to keep them beside me....but sadly, I realize I can't do that forever. Brady's interim kindergarten teacher is Mrs. Kaufman and Breck's 3 yr old class teacher is Mrs. Denise. They are lucky boys to have such awesome teachers. Brady was NONstop talk when we picked him up from school. He LOVED it! Breck, on the other hand, was a bit overwhelmed and tired. I think we can say, we missed each other:)

After School Painting

I couldn't wait for the boys to get home so I could hear all about their day and we could relax and just play together. They never say no to painting, so out came the easel and paints and off came their shirts. Couldn't have had a more beautiful day to paint beneath the trees.
