Sit back, relax & welcome to the Harrison world

Welcome to the daily happenings of the Harrison Family. It's crazy here, but we have a lot of fun. Mamma is clearly a little out numbered by the male species in the house, but it sure keeps things interesting. In our lives, you'll find lots of bugs, blocks, trucks, loud banging, clanging, running, hurdling off couches and beds, endless amounts of energy, no sleep, laughter from the belly, boo-boos, trips to the dr, walks to the park, did i mention no sleep? We hope you enjoy the ride as much as we do.

Fall leaf-wreath craft

I believe we crafted this on Thursday, November 12th. It was another gorgeous fall day here in big D, so the boys and i went on a long (1.5 hour) nature walk down by the pond in the park and through the streets of our neighborhood. The boys each brought a see-through bag (they call them their suitcases...i guess because they are shaped similarly with handles and all) and collected leaves, acorns, sticks, bugs, and whatever else they found. They knew their 'finds' would be later used to create beautiful fall wreaths- so the collecting was very exciting. Later at home, i whipped out the handy craft tablecloth and set them up to create with their goods. They had so much fun and I was able to clean the kitchen while the boys constructed lovely decor for the home- talk about muli-tasking at it's best!
